A HOPEFUL HEART by Kim Vogel Sawyer

We introduce Kim Vogel Sawyer and her new novel:
A HOPEFUL HEART

SUMMARY:  Dowry-less and desperate, Tressa Neill applies to the inaugural class of Wyatt Herdsman School in Barnett, Kansas. The school's one-of-a-kind program teaches young women from the East the skills needed to become a rancher--or the wife of one. But will Tressa have what it takes to survive Hattie Wyatt's hands-on instruction in skills such as milking a cow, branding a calf, and cooking up a mess of grub for hungry ranch hands?

Abel Samms wants nothing to do with the passel of potential brides his neighbor brought to town. He was smitten with an eastern girl once--and he got his heart broken. But there's something about quiet Tressa and her bumbling ways that makes him take notice. When trouble strikes, will Abel risk his life--and his heart--to help this eastern girl?

We encourage you to order this book through Kim’s website, your favorite online bookstore, your local quality bookstore, or library.

One special feature of Kim’s website is her “Prayer Room.” What she says there reveals much about Kim the person and her faith: “I believe strongly in the power of prayer. I believe God hears and answers all prayers. Sometimes He answers "yes"; other times He asks us to wait; and sometimes, in His infinite wisdom, He makes the choice to tell us "no."  But He invites us to bring our praises and petitions to Him--He welcomes our communication with Him. God has convicted me to open myself as a prayer partner. In obedience to His calling, I have opened the "prayer room." The prayer room is really a basket that rests on the corner of my desk. All prayer requests I receive go into the basket, and on Friday morning I take out the requests and lift them to the Heavenly Father. If you would like for me to join you in prayer, please send me your praise or prayer need through email. Know that I will hold your request in confidence between myself and the Lord. Thank you for the opportunity to pray for you.
